Arcata Main Street helps in the over all promotion of Arcata and works to unite the local community. One major way we do this is by hosting events throughout the year, including the Oyster Festival, Concerts in the Plaza, Picnics in the Plaza, Arts! Arts! Arcata

Arts! Arcata is a monthly celebration of visual and performing arts, held the second Friday of each month at more than 30 participating locations throughout Arcata.
Concerts on the Plaza

Sit down, relax in the friendly, welcoming atmosphere or get up and dance to the music that will be playing in our historic downtown.
Third Tuesday Luncheons

Every month we gather with a variety of guest speakers to discuss important issues that affect business within the Arcata community.
Picnics on the Plaza

Picnics on the Plaza are free, family-friendly events featuring live, local music from 11:30am to 2 pm every Friday in July and August.
Snip & Stitch

Indie Handmade Market featuring a selection of the best and brightest artists, independent designers, crafters, and a few bands from Humboldt County.
Girls Night Out

Get your girlfriends together and say goodbye to summer in style in late September! You will be treated to shopping discounts and savings, plus delicious cocktails and appetizers, gift certificates, and much, much more.
Trick or Treat on the Plaza

Bring ghosts, goblins and ghouls to the Arcata Plaza for a safe and neighborly trick or treat experience as downtown merchants provide treats.
