Join us in our efforts to enhance and promote Arcata's central business district and be a partner in maintaining a vital and diverse downtown economy. Our mission to attract and keep people in the downtown has direct benefits for individual businesses, property owners and the entire City.

Our office is located in the historic Jacoby Storehouse, where we work on many activites and promotions such as Arts! Arcata, The Arcata Bay Oyster Festival, Summer Music and Arts, Season of Wonder and Light Holiday promotion, Harvest Halloween, and Shop Local promotions. Additionally, we serve as a information center for visitors and locals alike. Typically we direct more than 5,000 visitors a year to our downtown businesses, local attractions, and services. We publish a monthly Events Calendar and annual Goods and Services Guide and newsletter and e-updates to keep members informed of important issues that effect the district.

We are working for the success your business by keeping the downtown vibrant, safe and attractive. Your support will enable us to continue and enhance our present activities. Yearly Membership ranges anywhere from $120.00 for small owner operated businesses to $2,500.00 for an inclusive sponsorship package, for more information about prices and membership click on the link at the bottom of the page.
