Arcata Main Street’s 29th Anniversary Oyster Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2019 on the Historic Arcata Plaza.

We are excited to invite returning vendors and new vendors to join us in the 2019 Oyster Festival.  Below you will find information pertaining to being a vendor at Oyster Festival.  Please be sure to fill out vendor applications if you would like to vend at our event.  Feel free to email us at arcatamainstreet@gmail.com with any questions you may have about the application process.

The purpose of the festival is, well, Oysters. Our local aquaculture is the paramount reason for the celebration!  Also to spotlight LOCAL businesses, craft breweries, fine wine, food and music. To that end, one of the new things we're doing is to feature our Oyster Vendors and others in a new media series during the weeks prior to Oyster Fest. We are partnering with area media, businesses, organizations, the city of Arcata, and community members to ensure the success of the event.  It was estimated that over 15,000 happy people attended the 2018 Oyster Festival. 

Please complete and submit this application by April 15th, 2019. 

After submitting your application you will need to fill out Temporary Food Facility Permit and submit it to the Department of Health and Human Services for approval.

Booth Fees and payments are due by May 20th.

** Vendor space is available on a first come-first serve basis with priority (and discounts!) given to local vendors serving OYSTERS. **

 

FLUPSY FAMILY FUN ZONE Vendor Information

The Kid's area on 9th between H & I Street is a very popular part of Oyster Fest. Our Flupsy Family Fun Zone offers arts and crafts, bounce houses, face painting, ice cream and more fun for our younger visitors! We're excited to expand the Kids' Area and welcome new

vendors. 

 

Please complete and submit this application by April 1st. Fees can be paid with a credit card online. You can also pay with a check made out to Arcata Main Street. If you prefer to submit some of this information verbally, please give us a call or stop by our office at 761 8th St., Ste. C, Arcata. It's just down the hall from Libation and Willow.

 

A single booth is only $150. Application fees will be fully refunded/returned if you are not accepted. 

 

CANCELLATIONS after applications have been processed will include a 20% fee. NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 10th or for any processed Arcata 1-day Business Licenses.
